We have an opening for a tier 1 support rep, primarily focussing on Garry's Mod but the ability to provide support for Minecraft and/or web hosting is a bonus.

You will be responsible for assisting clients with their servers via support ticket. Some common support requests include troubleshooting errors, reinstalling servers, installing addons and/or assisting to configure them and providing setup advice.

Ideallyx the successfully candidate would be based in the US or Canada to cover a gap in our support schedule, this is not essential though.

    • Effectively resolve customer inquiries via support ticket in a timely manner.
    • Compose helpful, friendly, and simplified responses providing fantastic customer service.
    • Actively contribute to the team by participating in team discussions, meetings, providing feedback and suggestions etc.
    • Spot trends in customer requests that may need to be escalated.
    • Work alongside your peers to provide quick and effective support.
  • Essential:
    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
    • You have a genuinely friendly, optimistic, and helpful attitude.
    • Must have strong customer service skills.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Must be able to adapt to a quickly changing industry and provide solutions to meet clients needs.
    • You have a strong understanding of the English language and are able to formulate clear, proper responses.
    • You understand when to ask for help and you're unafraid to do so.
    • A strong understanding of troubleshooting Garry's Mod servers.

  • Desirable:
    • Previous technical support or customer support experience.
    • Past experience using WHMCS or similar billing systems.
    • Ability to provide support to Minecraft servers or web hosting.
    • Located in the US or Canada.
