How do I update my server?

If your server is outdated or you'd like to install some of the core files (such as the sandbox gamemode, the default maps, etc.) then please follow the below steps.

Important: Do not delete your server files and run a Steam update to try and re-install it. You will still be missing some files and your server won't boot. Instead, open a ticket requesting a re-install. Thanks!

  1. Log into the control panel.
  2. Click the related service in the list.
  3. Click the "Kill" button in the top-right.
  4. Click the "Steam Update" button.
  5. Wait for the updater to say "Script done on (insert date here)".
  6. Click your server's name on the navigation at the top.
  7. Click the "Start" button in the top-right.
